=v= Schweet! Notice how there's almost nothing going East/West
within the center of Omaha, though. If you zoom in and look
at the "Elmwood Trail" (which run SW to NE), you'll notice
one controversial trail that was one of the only ways to get
East/West. It was mentioned in this newsgroup last year:

=v= Turns out this project was approved. Public speakers in
favor came from the Sierra Club and Omaha Critical Mass. The
other leg of this trail (which finishes the journey NW to SW)
may perhaps be another controversy, for much the same reason.
I'm calling it the "Malcolm X/Gerald R. Ford Veloway," due to
the two birthplaces it'll be connecting. :^o
