I'm no lawyer, contract or otherwise, but I'd be amazed if any multimillion
dollar *team* sponsorship contract had anything like an ironclad "if this one
guy doesn't race, we don't pay" clause. What fool would sign a contract with a
clause like that? Besides, how could they possibly enforce it?
