Ah, good ol' Marpole. Lemme guess: the Husky? Or that little
grocery on 70th between Oak & Granville? I miss Marpole. I
especially miss when nobody knew about 'Cravings', and the Coast
Hotel was where airline pilots went, to not drink too much.
And the White Spot was across the street.

My ride home from work today (and to the Money Mart at Knight
& 41st to cash my subsequent cheque) was punctuated with in-the-
kisser headwinds. Ugh! But it beats not riding at all. And
it sure beats stantion-hanging on a crowded rush-hour bus. I retained
my $4.oo carfare, anyway. I resorted to the 26" granny for a brief
moment today, crawling up beside Clark Park.
I recall how minutely discrete thunderstorms would crawl up
the Fraser River, past Marpole, and up toward Port Coquitlam
where they belong :-)
cheers,
Tom
