It seems to be a rather complicated process.. hopefully you can pull it off
properly. A paranoid thing I could probably picture myself doing would be
mixing up some Epoxy after the bars were cut, and giving the cut ends of the
bar a coat of Epoxy inside and out to stop fraying or something, incase that
happened.
