| Best ride of all
Just picked up my paycheque and some more work to do.
And hopefully eluded the landlady's visit while I was
gone; I need that cheque to cover my November rent.
Woo-hoo! Survival for another month. Well, shelter,
at least.
Anyhow, I got a nice, refreshing, refrigerator-temperature
little night ride in. Part of my route to my client/boss's
place is on a multi-user path. Gothic black seems to be
the current Fall Fashion colour, which I think is nutz.
With shorter fall days and more inclement weather, black
has to be absolutely the worst choice. I didn't have any
real trouble seeing these shadow people, but I sure found
myself being more alert about them. And will continue to
be, for the remainder of the dark seasons. Wearing black
in the fall. And at night, to boot. Pffftt.
And so, to work. (But first, a hot mug o' Maxwell House.)
