Mine was a relatively empty credit card and a trip to the Sports Junkies
Boxing Day sale.*
Urp. $180 later, here's what I got:
2 pairs of Axo SPD shoes, one "Winter" high-ankle, one low-ankle
(nominally a mountain shoe, but I'll hit the road with 'em)
2 saddles, the last two Selle Italia Nitrox that I really like ($2 ea!)
2 tires, because I needed tires
leg and arm body armor
A Lazer helmet, which I needed not at all, but which fit very well and
was $20.
1 Nexave rear derailleur
1 LX front derailleur
1 short, light stem
A teeny tiny seat wedge bag.
Oooh... Must have been the turkey...
*In Canada, Boxing Day sales are like "Black Friday" post-Thanksgiving
sales in the US: door-crasher specials, merchandise clearance, etc.
