| Uncivilized conditions
I don't know how people like Zoot, Keats and Claire Petersky can put up
with the dark, wet, cold days up here near the north pole.
But after today's ride I decided I can't train properly under these conditions, it
all became very clear when the Barista that I had spent 10 minutes explaining
how to do a correct Ristretto espresso pour just last week went and did another
stalled pull on my Ristretto today!
That's it. I'm heading to Guatemala to train, probably base myself at El Recreo in
the Coban region.
I'll take my Diedrich IR 12K drum roaster, Mazzer Nero stepless micormetrical burr
coffee mill and probably my Pasquini Livia 90 or maybe my La Marzocco
expresso machine. That way I can totally live off the land.
