If you're talking waxes and the average bicyclist who doesn't want to
reapply every couple rides, I agree.
I do use dry lube, tri-flow or superlube, whatever's on sale. Apply, wait
a bit to set, and wipe the outside of the chain dry. I also like to use
nickel plated chains--plain steel, though affordable and servicable, does
like a bit of traditional oil to keep from corroding. |
