I have not read any of the other posts, so this post may be just another
me too. I had a vasectomy back in July. My doctor told me to wait two
weeks before getting back on the bicycle. I felt like getting back on
the bike in one week, but I decided to follow his advice. When I went
back for my two-week check in to make sure things were healing well, he
suggested waiting another two weeks. I couldn't bear waiting that long.
I waited maybe 3 or 4 days and I got back on the bicycle with no
adverse effects. I think my doctor was a bit more cautious than most
considering his surgery techniques and the amount of time he wanted to
wait before doing the two sperm count checks, 6 and 12 weeks out,
respectively. I think it is better to be safe than sorry. But as far
as getting back on the bike, four weeks seemed a little excessive, so
you might guage it on how you feel. I started out slowly when I got
back on the bike, and gently ramped back up to my regular hard riding ways.
