If it ever stops snowing, raining, freezing etc in Jersey...I am going
to actually take my bike outdoors. When I do this thing, I am going to
figure out if I have a good fit with this bike I own. I bought it in
October and the weather has been like a woman going through
menopause...you never know what you will wake up to and or what she
will throw at you.
I don't even know what a good fit is on a bike. I imagine if you are
comfortable riding a long distance, you have a good fit. Could I be
correct? I never thought about these things when I was younger. I just
rode a bike. Anyone's bike.
When we were kids we always switched bikes. I rode my brothers bike. He
is 6 ft 3" tall. I was 5'8" tall. Maybe I have strunk in my older age,
but I was 5'8" back then. ;-) What was my point? Did I have one? Oh
yea, how do you determine if the bike fits you well...or if you fit the
bike? Is this something you just feel? Or is there some scientific
data, mathmatical answer, and technical information regarding this? Is
it simple or complex.
I am just starting to figure out how to fit on the gym equipment and
feel comfortable, but that was all guesswork and lever pushing. I have
very long legs so things are always a challenge. Like sitting in the
back seat of a sports car. Life is tough!
Love ya guys
