Since I started using Forte's Agent newsreader, these posts have all
been made clear to me. For instance, Bill's post appeared on Agent
as:

[quote] "I have had encounters with one such person, whom I later
learned to be Canadian. I learned of his nationality from a gentleman
with whom I ride who has recently placed an order for a
titanium-framed bicycle whose manufacturer recommends furniture polish
for its care.

I must confess to a slight amount of admiration, Mr. Cloud, for your
literary prowess and robust vocabulary. Cartoon characters--both old
and new--have never possessed the sort of verbal savoir faire that
I've noted in you, though I must say: a certain Italian action-film
actor comes awfully close." [quote]

I like it . . . though it still craps out when Gene Daniels posts....

Off to join a friend in his bike commute. Living vicariously through
others' jobs ;-)
