Depends if they have it in stock, they would normally need some time to set-up the bike for you, shouldn't take > 20 minutes unless they're really busy.
Remember to get all the the usual accessories you'll need at the same time:
Quality Lock,
Lights,
Helmet,
Reflective coat,
Pump and repair kit etc
