| I did a 24 hour race last year, and the longest training ride I did was 6 hours. If you can do half the distance you can do the whole thing. Be consistant. Get on your bike. Try to put in time every day, or every other day. And try to add about 10% to your time every week. Think of it this way 14 miles is only about 1 hour of riding. So 35 miles should be about 2 hours and change. Work your way up to about 1 1/2 hours and you're golden.
