| Cheapo Back of Car mounts vs Thule
I'm planning a short trip and I have the inexpensive back of the tire bike
rack similar to this:

Experience on those racks for short trips (100 miles) with interstate
travel?
My other option would be to put bike inside car (no big problem space ok,
but lying bike on side can sometimes tweak adjustments if not careful.
Thule is the 'best' of the three option, and I'm going to inquire on
getting a Thule system...I presume they sell it to you and then you take it
to the shop to have it installed? Or is it an easy mount with screwdrive
and crescent wrench thing?
(I might not be able to get the Thule and get it mounted in time for
departure, I'm thinking, so thus the query...)
