This site helped me troubleshoot my noise problems well. One thing I
haven't seen mentioned on this list yet is a loose chainring bolt, which
has been a problem for me in the past. The chainring bolts can also
become maladjusted if you don't tighten them in a star pattern - like
tightening the lug nuts on a car wheel (I said the "c" word, didn't I?).
