Clearly I was discussing the merits of new bikes that cost $99.99.
I agree ,that on a low budget, used bikes offer a much better deal,
and have said so in the past. At least you can fix the odd worn out
bit and end up with something workable. Fixing up a Walgoose is like
wiping your arse with dollar bills.
Saying that, buying second hand demands some knowledge, and the
reputable used bike shops that i've seen don't really sell bikes quite
that cheaply.
