how do you remove plastic decals from a metal bike(mongoose)? - Cycling Mob: Road Cycling, Mountain Biking and More

yeah were painting it and we need to get rid of the plastic sticker decals withough scraping the metal
please help!

ive had good luck with heat guns in the past. if you dont have a heat gun you can always use a hair dryer. it will take a while but it will do the trick, the alcahol will remove the sticky gunk. there is also some thing called goof off that is great for removing sticky stuff. you can find it in the cleaning isle of most sprawl marts
