Cycle Lock advice plz.?

I bought a 2nd hand hybrid which is in good condition and not much used for £70. Although it is a 2nd I would still like to have it protected well but I don't believe i should have to spend loads on a lock. I don't want cheap but I surly don't have to spend around the value of my bike or more. But if it protects my bike any better than the others then I don't mind paying.

Both my wheels are detachable as well, and possible the seat (I have to check this yet) so what would I do? Buy two locks or detach one and lock it with the other wheel with the frame to the stand?

I diddn't think about all this when I bought the bike and I'm a novice so I need advice on the best way to have my bike protected.

Thanx.

hi, i tend to find motorbike shops sell good locks, far better then anything that a pedal cycle shop can sell you and you will get one long enough to go threw both wheels and the frame without having to strip the bike everytime you leave it some where, they not a bad price if you shop about a bit, the down side is carrying the lock about with you when out to lock your bike up.

love and kisses

Kryptonite has a good line of locks out. I would recommend a cable lock that is long ehough to get through both wheels. When going through the rear wheel, make sure it also passes inside the rear triangle so the frame is also secured to whatever you lock your bike to
