Sette Team 6.0 Mountain bike.?

Is that bike a better deal than a Kona Cinder Cone or Specialized Rockhopper Disc that I could buy in a bike shop for under 700 dollars. I am a roadbiker and looking to get into mountain biking. I want a decent mountain bike for a rider with a good amount of experience (on the road anyway). I will be riding mostly moderate trails, hitting a few rough ones on occasion.
