how do i fix my chain on my bike?

ok my bike chain has stretched as far as it can!! like the tire cannot move back anymore cause its to far out..i need to get rid of some links..but how do i get rid of the links? what tools do i need?

Their is a tool called a link remover...they even sell them at WalMart...Put the chain on a hard surface that has an opening (vise) tap out the links with the tool mentioned above or with an ice pick and hammer. Oh I forgot you have to slide off the link lock first...looks like a elongated c that goes over the two pins on the link. tap out the pin...repeat.
