It has NOTHING to do with where you live, its all a matter of what yo
do. This is faulty cause and effect.

I have always lived in the suburbs to rural area. I am NOT fat
neither are any of my family except the cow my brother married but tha
is a different story. And she is from the city.

Since this is a cycling forum, care to elaborate on why its dangerou
and difficult to cycle in the city? And why we have to ride in th
country

See the problem with your argument by analogy?

Yes an individual can make the effort to exercise and eat properly and do a
dozen and two other things irrespective of suburban sprawl.

No one has suggested otherwise.

What is being suggested is that the nature of suburban sprawl development
discourages exercise and thus has contributed to a higher incidence of
obesity.

I have made no such claim. though I think it intuitive that the risk of
injury [regardless of mode of transport] correlates directly with traffic
[particularly automotive] density. The insurance corps claim this in
assessing premiums.

You don't. Unless you are referring to some local ordinance that prohibits
you.

Though considering the markedly higher incidence of heart disease suffered
by people who merely live in close proximity to busy streets and highways
might cause one reconsider the health benefit of cycling in heavy traffic.
