On May 5, 2004 I sent a check to N-Gear for a Jump Stop, which is a
clever little device that prevents your chain from coming off to the
inside.
Today, September 17, 2004, I found that the check had finally been
cashed.
So, I guess it wasn't free, after all;-) I'm posting this for anyone
else wondering if their check will ever be cashed. From what I have
been told by others, this is not unusual.
I have them on both bikes and they work as claimed. I bought the
second one, after my chain came off on a hill, and I didn't have time
to unclip, before falling. The only time in two years that I fell over
due to clipless pedals. Good, cheap insurance.
