fender: non-eyeletted fork clamps?

I've got eyelets in back but my vintage Tange replacement fork doesn't.
I've been using zip ties, but it's a bit tacky. :P

Any of you engineers have an idea short of finding someone to braze on
some eyelets?

I was thinking that there must exist a simple rubber coated clamp for this
purpose or another for that matter, than can be repurposed

Have you tried "P-clips"? They're usually included with racks for
mounting on seatstays.

Have you tried "P-clips"? They're usually included with racks for
mounting on seatstays.

I use these for mounting my rack. You can get them in hardware stores.
They are meant for securing conduit or cables, but work well for what you
need, and they are rubber-coated to protect your fork.

I use these for mounting my rack. You can get them in hardware stores.
They are meant for securing conduit or cables, but work well for what you
need, and they are rubber-coated to protect your fork.

Sounds promising! I raided the small fasteners bin at the local home
center and didn't see anything--perhaps I needed to look in the electrical
section. :P

I suppose the auto store might have something? I remember seeing cable
clamps under the hood of my old car that looked the part.
