bike commuter post

i am beginning to feel victimized on my commutes and there's been a lot of
holiday catharsis out there on the streets lately. today some guy whizzed by
me in his car. i was going 22 in a 25 one lane residential. he passed me and
the immediately braked to park (i get that a lot). i had to swerve right
when he passed and then swerve left around him when he jammed on his brakes.
i almost ran into his rear bumper but was able to swerve around. i just gave
him the evil eye and then immedately came upon a little traffic delay.
somebody was having a hard time parallel parking and another person was
honking loudly without going around. i went around the other guy who was
paying so much attention to punishing the parker he didnt realize he was
doing the same thing! when i passed him saw that his face was very red and
the veins in his neck were sticking out. i'm getting a lot better at not
getting too mad and this time i just felt bad for him because he just seemed
so stuck in his car. he looked like such an asshat fuming in his car like
that.

anyway just want to post it here for moral support - keep you eyes and ears
open and stay safe out there!
