Dump the wife. (hey, the bike's more important anyway, right?).

The old one is spending $50 on silly little tubes of animal fat in
order to TRY to look like the younger one. Why not just get the
genuine article instead?

My 25 year old daughter can out spend me even on my worst day. It
might be different products, but young women buy products.....Do you
have a clue? Do you know anything about women? A younger woman is
gonna cost you baby. I don't believe all the "look younger" crap they
market. I think it all comes from inside. Drink alot of water,
exercise and a little bronzer for a healthy looking tan without the
risk of cancer.
All good things. Thats one thing I gave up. Baking in the sun for
hours. I don't want to look like an old leather handbag when I am 60.
Young girls take note.

I think I can speak for Dave, er, Dave's friend and say that if Dave's
friend's wife had a GSXR (that a 1000, or what?), Dave's friend wouldn't
feel too bad about the wheels, either.

Sold my FZR400 last year,

Tell us how much your daughter weighs, and then we can recommend the
proper class of extension ladder.
