It is not widely known, but the Dave Clark Five claimed that it was
THEY who caused the disintegration of mankind.

The Beatles were actually correct when that statement hit the press that
one of them had said "We're more popular than Jesus", which at the time
they were. Of course the fanatics had to prove something by burning
Beatles albums, some of which I wish I had now. Paul did not get to be a
'Sir' by not doing something right.
Lennon was shot by a 'fan' around 1980.
Harrison died a few years back from natural causes.
Brian, was, I think, one of the Beach Boys, who ironically enough, drowned.
Don't know of any Stones dying. Liked their music too.

Well little bill, you have just shown the group that your knowledge of
music may even be worse than the rest of the topics you post on.

What, do you think there is only one Brian in all of music? Brian
Jones of the Rolling Stones was found dead in a swimming pool. Brian
Wilson of the Beach Boys is alive and reasonably well. Both of his
brothers are dead, Carl died of cancer and Dennis drowned while
supposedly highly intoxicated.

And it was Lennon who made the statement about being more popular than
Jesus.

I wasn't trying to be all that accurate, but of course I don't have to
troll to bring out an *******, or which there seem to be only 2 or 3 on
this group. Welcome to one of the top 3 spots.

My dearest Mr. Baka;

Please be aware that it is now, as it always has been and forever
shall be, impossible to bullsihit a bicycle. Therefore, when your
assertions are questioned or ridiculed it is in keeping with the
nature of the group's topic. You might mention this fact to the one
who prides itself in associating with the abbreviation "BS".
OTOH, your initials "b_b" simply remind me of box-cars.

People take life too seriously. None of us are getting out of it alive.
We might as well keep it simple while we are still here. I grew up
with the Beatles and the Stones, I don't profess to know anything about
their personal lives. I didn't know them. They are musical icons, not
personal friends. Who knows the reasons behind Brian Jones' death, or
what the heck happened to Dennis Wilson that day. I'm still trying to
figure out if Natalie Wood was killed or if she just decided to jump
off the boat or was pushed. Many unanswered questions in life. Was
Marilyn Monroe murdered, or did she OD? Why did Jim Morrison move to
France and die in a bathtub? Where are all the singing groups that
invaded the US in the sixties and is Gary Puckett still in the union at
the gap? And where were you the day the music died....driving your
chevy to the levy? Unless you can find a way to crawl inside another
persons head to hear his thoughts, we really do not know sh*t about
anyone. Especially musical icons.
All Good Things,
Maggie.
As the ever cool and ever handsome John Travolta said in that
intellectual musical GREASE.....THE RULES ARE...THERE ARE NO RULES.
All Good things,
Maggie
