Yeah fixies are great! You definitly can improve your spin and
efficiency, plus you really get a hell of a workout when you hit the
hills. I don't recomend hitting any major hills until you have a good
base and leg strength can really do some damage to the knees if that
connective tissue isn't built up yet. Especially after a winter indoor
training period.
