Need advice to keep indoor exercises interesting?

It is snowing again so I need to use the indoor trainer and treadmill. Truely the most boring thing I can think of. Any advice about an MP3 player to buy, and good music that will help to keep me pumped up enough to peddle?

definately get some music going to keep your mind away from thinking about other things. The type of music depends on your taste, while im working out i go for classic rock songs like ac/dc

Arrange your exercise equipment where you can also watch TV.
Time will go faster if you are thinking of something else while exercising.

I use itunes & have faster songs in a workout folder. Dance hits like a club would play is faster paced for longer periods & helps.
Music:
And We Danced by the Hooters
Hurricane by Alex Megane
Sexyback by Justin Timberlake
Sandstorm by Tunnel Alliance
Heaven by DJ Sammy & Yanou featuring Do
Hey Ya by Outkast
Bleed it out by Linkin Park
Boom Boom Bomm by the Outthere Brothers
Kernkraft 400 by Zombie Nation
Switch by Will Smith
1985 by Bowling for Soup
Send Me An Angel by Real Life
Twilight Zone by Golden Earring
Rainbow In The Dark by DIO
Kryptonite by Three Doors Down
Beautiful Day by U2
Take On Me by A-Ha
Mr. Brightside, Somebody Told Me or Read My Mind (by The Killers)
Hope some of these help. Don't know your taste in Music. My ipod has a workout strap & a clip so I don't have to worry about dropping it.
Good luck & good for you to stay on track with your goals!
P.S. We joined the YMCA & it helped a lot!
