A Santa Claus-for-hire was able to ride a bicycle to the mall where he was employed. In the morning, he averaged 20 mph. Later that day, he rode home into a stiff headwind and, consequently, averaged only 10 mph on teh return trip. What was his average speed for the round trip?

C'mon, this is simple algebra. Can you seriously not figure this one out on your own? No wonder the US keeps sucking at math compared to other countries...

This one is so simple it can't be homework, just something made up to kill time asking questions.

(1) Add the 2 and divide by 2.
(2) Subtract the slower from the faster and divide by 2 and add it to the slower.

Now go play video games and veg out!
