Rohloff Speed Hub?
Has anyone ridden a bike with a Rohloff Speed Hub? How does it compare to a derailleur system?

on the plus points, it s maintenance free, it has a wider range of gears (over 500%), equal spacing of gears and is ultra reliable and smooth.
on the down side, it makes your bike noticably weight heavy and costs a ton of cash
it is the perfect piece of equiptment for touring imho
