How can I learn to cycle again? - Cycling Mob: Road Cycling, Mountain Biking and More

About 10 years ago, I used to cycle a lot, only ever for fun (I was quite young then), and am thinking about doing it again. I have tried on a couple of occasions recently, but I am having problems with my balance. I would love to be able to cycle places that at the moment I need to either take a bus or walk for some hours.
I am thinking that I should get back into cycling, but don't really know how; what would people recommend?

I used to cycle in London 25 years ago. I started again recently - had no problem - but motorists do not like cyclists.

Read highway code - it had changes . At night bbe seen - plenty of light plus hi-vis jacket.

BE CAREFUL - all motorists are not from Trim - make them are of your presence.

you just need to practise when ever you can and you will be pedalling around in a short time don't worry mate,

Buy a bike and cycle around the nearest park first before the roads.

It's one thing you never forget..

the main thing is balance as you say.. so the best place it to practice initially on an open space away from traffic etc.

just keep trying really..
