May sound like a dumb question, but do you have to remove the wheel from the...
...bike to change the inner tube? or can you just remove the tire and old inner tube and slip the new one on. Thanks for any help.

Barry l is wrong, my Mr's took her knickers off once with out taking down the trouser,i don't think they went back on though.

Yes in all cases unless you have a Cannondale Lefty "fork".

It is, however, pretty easy to repair a tube without removing a wheel from the bike.

because u cant put the tube on if u dont remove it? its prety logical.. its like asking y cant u take ur underwear off without removing ur pants
