| Sore legs can be caused by many factors. First, make certain to warm up slowly. Be sure to hydrate before hand and eat a healthy meal two hours before the ride. Also, a slow and easy cool down is very important. Since you are only riding for 30 minutes, this means you are either not on the bike that often, or you are going too hard too quickly for the 30 minute duration. After riding, stretching is very important. But, something that helps me after a long ride, is raising my feet. Find a wall and lay down with your backside as close to the wall as possible with your feet raised up. Self massage even for a few minutes is also a great relief. Massage from the feet towards the heart.
