your favorite bike of all time?

Mine is a Maron Northside Trail. it was good for the price and doubled well as a obstacle and city commute. I freaking love it. I liked it so much I would switch clipless pedals (and shoes) depending on what kind of rec I chose.
I had a Gary Fisher earlier this year but couldn't clear the jumps that this one could.

I want to know a versatile bike that can be used from which I stated in the latter.

tell me what you think cause I plan on buying a new bike to add to my collection.
hey I sported a haro when I was young too. I am looking for kind of top shelf brands like 800$+

My favorite is my 1970 Gitane Tour de France. (way old school).
Reynolds 531 tubing, Mavic tubular wheels, 5 speed freewheel, 52/42 Dura Ace (came with Strong Light -- changed them with first gen Dura Ace in 1974) Dura Ace derailleurs, pedals and shifters. I have over 30 some thousand miles on it, and I will never part with that bike.

Not my first bike, but will be my last.

Get the Felt REDEMPTION---Man, the bike just has class! I also find the Scott Ransom 30 hard to resist---though its a downhill specific rig. There's more but the 2 bikes I mentioned just are INCREDIBLY GNARLY!

well this sounds terrible but i have not bought a bike in over a decade! i never use it... i know i am probably the one missing out here...

i like my haro nyquist pro 2 but it its mad heavy like 30 pounds
