| some training questions? This winter I'm taking the time to do some speed/sprinting training that is long over do. I typically ride purely for distance/fun and don't ever attempt to max my heart rate out or give a rats but about speed (just fast enough to do the distance I want in a reasonable time frame for enjoyment reasons...nothing to prove by no means). So what i'm doing is meeting up with some folks who are into this at 6 am for one hour. I wake up at 5:30 in order to meet with them (just up the road a mile). My question is first off I know I need some fuel in order to perform well, but it's not like I'm out there for a long time and I have a hard time wanting to eat anything in the morning. I know I don't have time to digest anything real anyhow so I've been eating a banana and a glass of oj and then eat good when I get home, is that ok? Also how do I deal witht the water thing? If I drink too little bad, but too much is bad for speed work to right? Any advice?
Thanks!
