Opinions on new bike design? - Cycling Mob: Road Cycling, Mountain Biking and More

Alas, I find it necessary to ask the growing population some specific questions about a pending ROAD bike design I am developing.

I know alll about the "preference" however it may be shrinking, of carbon fiber (carbon fibre to our British friends). This is primarily for those who have EXTENDED riding experience of multiple frame materials.

I have come across several materials that I am toying with. Without regard for the actual material, what are your preferences in RIDE QUALITY?

We all know that all materials have some good and bad properties, but I want to know what properties would make your perfect frame. Again, try to avoid naming a particular material. Thanks!
