where can i get a single crank arm?

i came across a truvativ elita crankset from my shop. only problem is the non drive side arm has stripped pedal threads and they are too far gone to tap.

the rest of the set is in great condition and i even have the bottom bracket for it.

i want to know if there is any way i can get just the left arm without buying a whole set. ive scoured ebay with no success so far.

EpicRacer you are the Lefty! we were looking for a few weeks back -- seriously there is a question in here somewhere (i just cant find it this minute) where the dude had a left crank he wanted to sell. You might get lucky and it's a TruVativ. Go through the open and resolved questions no more than 1 month -- it doesn't seem like it was that long ago -- I'm pretty sure December.

Now fixing your crank. You can get it fixed even though it's too far gone to tap. Take it to a machine shop, don't forget the pedal so they understand that it is left handed thread. Have THEM install a Helicoil. If you have never done it - do not attempt. You have to get this fix on the proper axis for the pedal (it's gotta be square to the crank). IF they can't put the Helicoil in for whatever the reason, ask them if they can weld the crank and retap it. What that is, the weld goes in the hole. Just a layer or two -- they don't have to weld it shut. Then the hole is bored and the threads are cut. Either way - done properly will work as good as new.
