What is a good, stock, single speed, rigid, mountain Bike for aggresive city...

...riding and no trail? I'm 5'11, 200 lbs, and looking for something like a large bmx bike , light, but can take abuse. I'm looking to spend about $500, new or used. Some tips on a quick build in those specs would be good too. Thanks.

I think a single speed mountain bike will be geared too low for city riding. You might look into a single speed road bike like the Specialized Langster. They start at around $650. They have a flip-flop rear hub so you can run it as a fixed gear (no coasting) or a single-speed (freewheeling).
