Bike brakes?

bicycle brake slip in rain. what should I get. so I can ride in wet condition.

Disk brakes will most likely solve your problem. If you do a lot of serious mountain biking, the hydraulic version may be your answer. If not then mechanical disk brakes will also do the trick.
All you really need is the front brake, the rear doesn't do much work. So if you want to save, it's ok to leave the rear brake as it is.
Also, make sure your fork has disk brake mounts. So you can mount the actual brakes. They are towards the lower part of the fork and are usually about 3 inches apart.

A cheaper solution is to replace the pads on your current brakes. But i'm not entirely sure this will work in wet\muddy conditions.

that is normal. road bikes do not brake in wet conditions. getting a larger contact area brake pads might help a little but the only thing that really stops a bike in wet conditions are disc brakes, and those only come in mtb and hybrid bikes.
