Does trekking bike saddle always hurt?

i own a bicycle and just noticed that its saddle is different from others. It turns out that it's a trekking bike saddle and thus more narrow. It hurts me so much even until 6 hours of cycling. I cycle only to get around and not professionally, but still! Can someone please explain? Is it only my ass or the saddle?

No they don't always. They do if:
1. you haven't ridden in quite a while and aren't used to it and ride too long.
2. Your saddle doesn't fit you well
3. Your bike is not sized right or set up right.
4. You have a POS saddle - not all are good.
