I am looking to buy some mountain bike touring shoes and matching pedals. Could
anyone recommend anything? I have never had clipless pedals before but still don't want to get cheap and nasty ones as I am planning a significant tour later this year. Any help would be appreciated.

It will be better than you can get them from someone you know.May be your friends or neighbors.If not analyze which brand is best and try to by it.
