Well that is very hard to say. "The Mother Road" is but a former shadow of herself. Most of the original road is gone. There are still some historic patches of roadway out there but not a contiguous road. Parts of 66 are limited access and you can't ride it. Weather conditions would play a role in your excursion too. But, all that crap said, to go from Chicago to LA would set you back about 3 (maybe 4) weeks depending on how experienced a rider you are.
