What type of bikes do you recommend?

Which should I get? A Mountain or a Road bike? I plan on riding everyday on the pavement and then ruggedly on hills. This is weight-loss related. But I don't know if I should get a Mountain bike. Or A road. Listen. I'm 13 years old. AND NOT EXPERIENCED AT CYCLING. So please don't blame me for being unexperienced cause I am. I want to use a good bike for a begginner and ride about 25-30 miles each day. And Please recommend bikes, facts, bike shops, etc. I'm completely new at this. And I want to buy a really good bike. My budget is like less than $125. So, I know I can't buy any good bikes with that, But I want a good bike that'll last. Cause remember the fact that I want to put at least 30 miles on it each day.

Okay so I am just a little older than you but I have had a trek for a while. You can ride on and off trail with it but it depends on the wheels. Usually a Trek is off trail, though.
I love off trail riding! It is so much fun!!
I would go to a specific bike shop. That could be very helpful to scope everything out and learn.
Im not sure where you live so I couldn't tell you specific store. Trek's are expensive and most good bikes are but remember the better bike the easier on you and riding and they last longer.
I love mine.
Good luck!

Go with a hybrid. Its in the middle between road and aMountain bike Trek and Giant have some great affordable ones. Usually these bikes come with good service so they'll last for a while. And remember to have fun with it.
