| Torn between Trek 6000/Scott Scale 70/Gary Fisher Kaitai. Can you help me decide? I'm in the market for a new bike. Mostly riding around town during the week and trails on the weekend. Price range is < 850. At this point, I'm leaning more towards a MTB than a dual sport, but there is something about the feel of the GF that is keeping me undecided. Please help me decide between the three, pros/cons of each and perhaps even other recommendations. Also, feel free to weigh in on components, efficiency of bike, etc.

Scott Scale 70 (600): Note the model I'm looking at is 2007 (XT rear derailler, Shimano Diore shifters, dart 2 fork) http://scottusa.com/us_en/product/59/644/scale_70
