| | | Oh what a beautiful morning! Oh what a beautiful day!
Yes indeedy, all is well with the world today.
Cycling into town, I overtook a yoof on a mountain bike on the hill outside the
George Hotel. Normally yoof on MTBs make a point of overtaking
middleagedfatbirdonabianchi up said hill, but today I sailed by such a yoof and
offered a friendly "Good morning" as I pedalled past him :-)
Some days, the cycling is *good* :-)
Cheers, helen s

Indeed. Young person, male, on MTB or BMX which is too small for him, so he
sits with knees sticking out. Also, if bike with gears, he fails to understand
how to use gears, and invariably is in a gear waaay too low, so legs spin in a
blur ;-) Choice of clothing black or very dark t-shirt or hooded sweatshirt,
baggy in nature and trousers are also black, baggy and often cut off just below
the knee. Yoof does not like cycling anywhere near middle-aged ladies and it is
a point of yoof honour that middle-aged ladies *must* be overtaken with
accompanying derogatory comments aimed at middle-aged ladies on bikes.
Hence this morning when middleagedfatbirdonabianchi sailed past such a yoof,
she made a point of smiling sweeting and saying "good morning" to said yoof,
whislt showing yoof a clean pair of Look pedals :-)

>where you are!
My bit of England is bathing is sunshine and very light wind. I'm making the
most of it! I shall be off out again this evening to enjoy a pootle as the sun
sets.
