Fortunately, it's easy to distinguish the two groups of pedestrians. Those who
just want to cross safely look both ways before stepping off the curb, and move
with purpose across the street. The lowlife scum on a power trip cross as slowly
as they possibly can, preferably late in the cycle or against the light or even
in the middle of the block, just so they can maximize their fun.
