I think he's just asking for opinions, not guidance. It struck me as a "survey"
kind of question not unlike, "Which one is more attractive, Angeline Jolie or
Elizabeth Hurley?".

I really don't care to know how well a bike performs. I want people's
subjective opinions on bicycle design.

This is not true of many upright bicycles, not to mention the Dark Side.

Wheels that were some shape other than circular would not be very
useful, however.
