I haven't but I understand it is favored as a treatment and preventive for
saddle sores.

Neosporin or bacitracin is probably the best for preventing infection. Also,
you can apply vitamin e oil once it starts healing a bit so you;ll have less
scars. I used it for surgery and it works great!

is lanolin with a veternary disinfectant. Works great for sore
cracked or chaffed skin, but maybe not the best thing for a
deeper wound.
