DC -> Philadelphia trip

Hiya everyone.

A friend and I are trying to plan a bike trip from DC to Philadelphia,
and we're having a little bit of trouble trying to figure out a
bike-friendly route. Obviously we would like to stay off of US-1...

I've got a philadelphia bike map that can get me into the city proper
from the airport on bike-friendly trails. I also know DC well enough
that getting out of the city won't be a proble. But it's that looong
stretch in between that is currently leaving us stumped.

Can anyone suggest a route, or ideas, or web/book/people resources to
help us plan our trip?

(By the way, either road biking or off-road biking is OK. We'll
happily do trail rides all the way, or road stuff, or even mix it up a
bit if we've got to.)

Thanks!

Sincerely,
Eric

Take a look on Bill Cottons¹ web site

I¹ll bet he has a cue sheet for this ride. Watch out for ³bicycle friendly²
routes on the bike map. Some are more dangerous than Russian Roulette!
