It's kind of hard to tell from the graph, but it looks like you're
doing lots of the same types of rides. Are you mixing in tempo days
(zone 3), easy days (zone 2), and lactate threshold days (zone 4)?

You might get better answers in rec.bicycles.racing.

Re: Training for Masters

The rides are around a park which has lots of hills. Some days are easy
days when I feel like I need to slow down. I bike every other day so with
the great weather that we have been having I haven't missed many. I use a
pace audio tape that leads me through interval training ie. 2 min high
cadence 35/ 15.. twice, biggest gear out of the seat for 20 sec 40 sec
recover 6 times, 70% max for 20 sec 100% for 10 sec.... etc... on the hills
I improvise. I was wondering about hitting the 50 mile rides for a few more
weeks or leveling out to more like 30 mile rides for a few weeks. I do
strength training when I can find time.
